We believe that sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is one of the most important things we can do as Christians. The Gospel of Christ is salvation to everyone who believes, because it is the power of God (Romans 1:16).

For that reason it is imperative that we know how to share the Gospel clearly and effectively. This is the mission of Berachah’s Evangelism Team – to provide different resources and opportunities to give a presentation of God’s free gift of salvation. The methods may vary, but the message will never change.

The evangelism team regularly offers classes aimed at instructing Christians to share the gospel without fear. Participants are given a clearer understanding of the good news of Jesus Christ and are taught practical methods which will improve their ability to clearly and naturally explain the gospel to others as God provides occasions.

The Evangelism Team also makes a gift bag available to first time visitors at Berachah.

The Evangelism Team also reaches out to our community. A Good News Club was started at a local elementary school. This is an after-school program that teaches children about Jesus through Bible stories, singing and game time. The purpose of the club is to teach that we can only be saved through Christ and that Christians should “grow in Christ”.

Other activities include a Berachah booth at the yearly Fayette County Fair and an Easter Party for children to celebrate the Risen Christ. The Evangelism Team meets monthly to discuss and plan future events.
